L'appareil HK-1742 pour la séparation de l'huile de la graisse lubrifiante est conforme à la méthode d'essai standard ASTM D1742 pour la séparation de l'huile de la graisse lubrifiante pendant le stockage. Cet appareil permet de déterminer la tendance d'une graisse lubrifiante à séparer l'huile pendant le stockage, dans des récipients normalement remplis ou partiellement remplis, mais il ne convient pas aux graisses plus molles que le grade NLG1 n° 1. L'échantillon de graisse, déposé sur un tamis de 76 μm (n° 200), est soumis à une pression d'air de 1,72 kPa (0,25 psi) pendant 24 h à 25 °C (77 °F). Toute fuite d'huile est drainée dans un bécher et pesée.

Overview
HK-1742 Apparatus for Oil Separation from Lubricating Grease conforms to ASTM D1742 Standard Test Method for Oil Separation from Lubricating Grease During Storage. This apparatus covers the determination of the tendency of a lubricating grease to separate oil during sotrage in both normally filled and partially filled containers, but it is not suitable for greases softer than NLG1 No. 1 grade. The smaple of grease, supported on a 76μm (No.200) sieve, is subjected to 1.72kPa (0.25psi) aire pressure for 24h at 25℃(77℉). Any oil seepage that occurs drains into a beaker and is weighed.
